The Issue: Legalized Family Destruction
CPS removes children under the banner of safety.
But most removals aren’t about abuse.
They’re about poverty, addiction, and chaos.

We criminalize dysfunction instead of treating it.

We don’t rescue kids.
We raid poor families.

Evidence and Analysis

Over 60% of removals involve neglect, not physical abuse.
Neglect usually means:

• unpaid utilities

• food insecurity

• untreated addiction

• untreated mental illness

In other words: poverty.
